Plug and Play — no-code payment collection tools

Nimbbl's Plug and Play tools let you accept payments without writing a single line of code. Whether you run an eCommerce store, need to collect one-off payments, or want a branded payment page for your business, Plug and Play gives you production-ready options that work out of the box.

All Plug and Play tools use Sonic checkout for the payment experience, so your customers get access to every payment mode Nimbbl supports -- UPI, cards, Netbanking, wallets, Pay Later, and more -- with personalization, offers, and EMI options built in.

No-Code Payment Collection

Plug and Play is a collection of no-code payment collection tools designed for merchants who want to start accepting payments quickly without developer involvement. You create and manage everything from the Command Center Command Center, and your customers pay through a secure, branded checkout experience.

Three tools make up the Plug and Play suite:

  • eCommerce Plugins -- connect your existing online store to Nimbbl with a platform-native plugin
  • Payment Links -- generate a shareable link tied to a specific amount or set of products, and send it to a customer
  • Payment Pages -- build a branded, reusable payment page with a custom URL and optional custom fields

Each tool serves a different use case. The sections below help you pick the right one for your business.

No-Code Solutions

Payment Links let you collect payments by creating a link and sharing it with your customer through SMS, email, or any messaging channel. Each link represents a single payment request tied to either a fixed amount or a set of products.

You can create Payment Links through the Command Center UI or programmatically through the Payment Links API. Set an expiration date, schedule notifications, add custom metadata, and track the status of every link from creation through payment completion.

Payment Links are ideal when you need to request payment from a specific customer for a specific transaction -- invoices, service fees, product orders, or follow-up payments.

Payment Pages

Payment Pages give you a custom-branded, reusable payment page with its own URL slug. Unlike Payment Links, a Payment Page stays active and can accept payments from multiple customers over time. You configure the page once -- set a fixed or customer-entered amount, add your logo and brand colors, and optionally include custom fields to collect additional data.

Payment Pages are created exclusively through the Command Center UI. There is no API for Payment Pages. Share the page URL with customers via SMS, email, social media, or embed a Pay Now button on your website.

Payment Pages work well for recurring collection scenarios -- donations, membership fees, event registrations, or any situation where multiple customers need to pay on their own schedule.

eCommerce Platforms

If you already have an online store on a supported platform, Nimbbl's eCommerce plugins connect your store to Nimbbl without any code changes. Install the plugin, enter your credentials, and your customers can pay through Nimbbl at checkout.

Supported platforms include Shopify, WooCommerce (WordPress), Magento, OpenCart, and Wix. Shopify merchants can choose between a standard Payments Plugin and a Full Checkout option that replaces the entire Shopify checkout with Sonic.
